Results are informational — not advice

Every calculator on ZorvLabs produces an estimate based on the formula or numerical method documented on its page. The output is general-purpose information. It is not financial, investment, accounting, tax, legal, mortgage, insurance or engineering advice, and it is not a recommendation to buy, sell, hold, build, sign or decline anything.

    Finance-specific limits

    • Payment and amortization results assume the stated rate, term and day-count convention and ignore lender-specific fees, escrow, insurance and rounding rules your lender may apply. Your loan documents — not this site — define your actual obligations.
    • Projections (retirement, compound growth, Monte Carlo) are models of hypothetical future markets, not forecasts. Real returns are not smooth, and sequence risk, taxes and inflation can change outcomes materially.
    • Option and risk models (Black–Scholes, VaR, GARCH, Heston) rest on simplifying assumptions — log-normal prices, constant parameters, frictionless markets — that real markets violate, sometimes dramatically.
    • Tax-related calculators use the rules labeled on the page for a specific tax year and jurisdiction and are simplified; they do not replace a qualified tax professional.

    Engineering-specific limits

    • Structural results (beam deflection, FEA stress, buckling, seismic response) are educational approximations of idealized systems. Real designs must be performed and stamped by licensed professionals under the applicable building codes.
    • Fluid, thermal and aerodynamic results use simplified models (ideal gas, isentropic relations, empirical turbulence closures) that may not match your hardware, geometry or operating conditions.

    Verify before you act

Each calculator page states its formula, reference and assumptions — read them, and cross-check important results independently. If a result will inform a decision with real consequences, confirm it with a qualified professional (lender, fiduciary adviser, CPA or licensed engineer).

    Methodology

How the numbers are produced, per category: finance methodology and engineering methodology. Every calculator page also carries its own "last reviewed" date.
